I authorize my Lender to perform a credit check, via a soft pull of my credit for prequalification purposes only and for no other purpose. 

(The soft inquiry lets us assemble estimated numbers before you authorize a hard credit inquiry. This inquiry will not impact your credit scores or show up as an inquiry on your credit report.) 

I/We understand that prequalification is an initial determination of whether I/we prequalify for mortgage/credit purposes and that it is not an application or a commitment to proceed with a full application of credit. 

Should I/We proceed with a full application of credit, via a hard pull of my credit, additional authorization will be requested from my Lender to access my/our credit report for the purpose of a mortgage loan. I understand this may affect my credit score. 

I acknowledge that any owner of a competed loan, its servicers, successors, and assigns, may verify or re-verify any information contained in this form or obtain any information or data relating to a completed loan, for any legitimate purpose, through any source, including a source named in this form or a consumer reporting agency.
